Match Racing Weekends.

Using our two ‘matched’ First 40.7’s you can bring up to 16 of your colleagues or clients for some ‘boat on boat’ competition. A good half day of training in boat handling will be followed by a series of short ‘Windward Leeward’ races allowing plenty of opportunity for the crews to perfect their skills and also for plenty of very close boat interaction.  Match racing is the particular racing rule used in the Americas Cup and a super format for crew development.

Event Price £2000 per boat per weekend.

Race Training Weekends.

These weekends are an opportunity for you to bring individual crew members ‘up to speed’ with basic sailing skills plus their understanding of the basic sailing manoeuvres. We will also make sure that the whole team is working together efficiently when they tack and gybe.  A little basic training without the pressure of a race event will improve your chances of success in a corporate regatta and increase the enjoyment of the events for the individual crew.

Event Price £2000 per boat.

We can Arrange Race Training or Match Racing weekends on the following dates in 2024:

13th/14th April, 27th/28th April,3rd/4th August,31st August/1st September, 14th/15th September, 28th/29th September.

The level of accommodation that we can offer depends on the group but essentially the group have three double cabins available to them for sleeping on board. So, we can take ten crew if some are prepared to sleep ashore, six if they all stay on board and share cabins or three if they demand individual accommodation.  We supply all meals snacks and soft drinks while sailing.  Crew are expected to eat ashore at their own expense when the boats are in port.

In the event that a Race or Regatta is modified or cancelled as result of bad weather or other restrictions beyond our control, alternate sailing will be arranged.

Please note that the above events will be administered by our event company, Activ Power and Sail Ltd.
