Corporate hospitality and team building

Yachting is great for corporate entertainment and team building exercises. It provides a unique opportunity to experience the sea and wind, enjoy the beautiful Dorset coast and learn some new skills. Providing team building opportunities away from people's everyday work environments is often the most effective way of stimulating positive change.

Planning, communication, co-operation and team work are just some of the attributes needed to sail a yacht in a safe and effective manner, whether cruising or racing. We have experienced and qualified skippers who will assist in encouraging everyone to participate and to get fully involved in the activity whatever their experience.

Beautiful Poole Harbour

Our principal Mike Riley was formerly a Managing Director for a major international company. His experience in industry and a range of corporate hospitality events and team building exercises have helped to ensure Poole Sailing Ltd offers an experience that provides genuine added value for clients and teams from small and large companies.

The event format will be tailored to suit the needs of the client and could include cruising or racing or a combination of both in Poole Harbour and the bay, with up to eight people per yacht including the skipper. We can arrange a high level of catering to suit the budget of our clients. This could range from a buffet on board, or a beach barbecue through to a lunch or dinner in one of Poole's prestigious yacht clubs.
